I am a Year 6 student at Pt England School in Auckland, NZ. My teachers are Miss Szymanik, Mr Goodwin, and Miss Parrant.
We are using adverbs to begin two sentences about The Duffy Show.
An adverb describes the way that we are doing something.
Excitedly we all sat nicely waiting for the Duffy show to begin.
Loudly we all laughed and had a great time.
Great work today Levonah - I particularly liked the way that you and Toby shared your ideas and sentences.Your first sentence has too many adverbs - by saying nicely after saying excitedly - you confuse your audience a little.
