My cloud poem

Trouble with charlie

For reading this week we read a story called The trouble with oatmeal. It is about a girl who moves to a new house and her cat walks back to her old house and the girls friend found the cat and the cat had kittens. Our challenge was to use all our key competencies to think of ideas, script, rehearse, film and then edit our movie. In our time i got a little bit annoyed but at least I finished my movie.

The frog

Gripping on to the tree the slimy green frog outstretched his tongue to catch his prey. The big frog opened his big wide eyes to eat the small cricket. After that the slimy green frog went to get more prey.

When I Was Young.....

I first met Miss King when I was a gorgeous 5 year old. She came to my class to teach me amazing things. Here I am talking about what we learnt with my friend Jacob.

Our Powhiri

The New flag

I reckon we should change the New Zealand Flag because the fern represents us and the Australian flag looks too similar to the New Zealand flag. We should also change the flag because we are not British, England or Australia.

New Zealand is not Australia and Australia is not New Zealand. New Zealand needs to stand out and step up for themselves.

The River

A woman has two dogs, three rabbits and lettuce.
She must cross a river.
Her boat is unable to transport all in one crossing.
If she transported the dogs, the rabbits would eat the lettuce.
If she transported the lettuce, the dogs would eat the rabbits.

Question: How is she able to transport them all safely?

The blob

Next it was my turn, I got on the blob. Nestled up waiting for the person to jump, I was super nervous, scared and anxious. Then I catapulted up in the air, doing two back flips, I landed with a belly flop.

“Holy moly, that was so fun” I wanted to do that again. This had been the best thing since I had been at camp. The blob made me feel like a superhero.
